Blogging Echoes

I’d like to echo Monika’s words with some of my own on the subject of making a success of a new blog.

Depending on what you want to do with a blog, success can mean many things to many people. I don’t want to muddy the waters by going off on a dozen or so different tangents, so I’ll keep it simple and concentrate on making a successful blog in terms of attracting a large and loyal readership coupled with making a profit from all the hard work that goes into achieving that success.

Our major goal with this site is to create a popular focal point for a large audience of readers to find many interesting and varied authors who host their own blogs by giving them great examples of the authors’ work in the form of guest blogging posts right here, with links back to their own blogs.

Blogging Web 2.0 will become a central meeting point for both bloggers and readers.

It will be of mutual benefit to both by showing the readers exactly what to expect when they visit the authors’ blogs so they won’t waste time searching through unsuitable blogs, or blogs with misleading names that are either written on a subject of no interest to the reader, or blogs of poor content that are full of ads.

We can achieve this goal by attracting lots of people to see what is being written right here on this blog - Monika and myself are working hard to create a lot of interesting and useful content for that purpose and are promoting it to attract an ever growing readership.

We also need help from you.

By helping us to provide a wide variety of different viewpoints on the blog’s main subjects by writing and publishing guest posts here, you’ll be not only helping us to generate even greater numbers of visitors, but also helping yourselves by promoting your own blogs from this site

Some of you are already doing this by commenting on posts and our first guest blogger, Karen Zara has started the ball rolling by providing a really great first post on the very popular subject of Page Rank and why so many bloggers are concerned with chasing it.

Please, let’s hear from more of you now!

So I’d also like to thank everybody who has contributed to the initial growth and the beginnings of success that this blog is already experiencing. Please tell your friends about us and we’ll keep doing our bit by telling the world about ourselves. Together we can make this a truly great place to increase the exposure of every blogger who gets involved by delivering a platform from which to show the world your own abilities and promote your own blogs to a huge online audience.

Here’s to your success - because your success is our success!
