Blogging - What is Your Intention

Blogging as you know it is big business. And it is only gong to grow from here. But not everybody wants to blog to make money. Many bloggers are happily writing their ongoing memoirs and that is perfectly fine. Writing on a weblog is a form of self expression and sharing our journey and experiences with others kind of validates them. It makes them real as they are set in digital print for ever. Just this blog for example. Terry and myself have pretty much stated what we intend to do while blogging on this site.

We stated our intentions. Believe me when I’m saying that it is very important to do this. Not only will you assure your readers that they have landed on the right site/blog, after all they were searching for something and that led them eventually to you.

Now - all bloggers have one thing in common and that is the need to beckon our readers back and increase our readership over time. I suppose that makes sense to you doesn’t it? See, if we don’t have any visitors, then why bother blogging? If you are a private blogger talking about your life journey, you still need to have some sort of intentions to enthrall your readers - don’t you? But nowhere is this more so important than in business.

We need to state, what we are about. This is best done on the “about” page as it will give us a platform to talk shop. Readers like to know what we are about, what we are planning and most important how we can help them.

I’m not sure, whether you are aware of this, but most business blogger blog, (now that was a mouthful) because they have something to say (us included) and they want to share their experience and knowledge to help others. I’m sure you would agree with this if you a blogger. Besides this, we need to network in any business and what better way to do this than with a blog.

So please, think about your own blog and how you can state your intentions. Your readers will be thankful to know that they have landed on the right blog to satisfy their search for more knowledge. All I have left to do at this stage is to say - happy blogging.

Here is to your blogging Success

    Blogging What is Your Intention…

When we blog it would be helpful to our readers to state our intentions. As blogging is a very powerful medium we can attract the right kind of visitor by letting them know what we are about. This also applies to those who blog for fun….
