Blog RSS Submissions

RSS submission sites are directories that grab your latest feed once you update your blog. This could be a possible gold mine of endless blog traffic for you. The thing is that I’m really not sure whether they work or not. I personally haven’t tested them out in bulk and even though some directories offer a paid submission and do it for you the question arises whether blog rss submissions work the same as search engine directory submissions in terms of being useless most often.

I have looked into this possibility lately but to be honest I have yet to be convinced it works. Hand submissions are tedious and VERY time consuming, so I wonder whether it would be worthwile to pay for such a service? The trouble is that we can’t really be sure if some of these sites are still being monitored.

Top blog rss submission sites do display their latest updates which allows the clients to see if they are still current. That’s why I love blogs so much as it is easy to see if they are being maintained or not.

This website has tons of opportunities to submit either your blogs, or your RSS feeds, both paid and for free. I’m in noway qualified to say if they are any good or even worth your time.  It might pay for you to do a bit more research on this maybe in SEO forums or similar. To be honest I really lack the time currently to follow up on this myself and maybe that is a huge negative for my own blogs.

If it is good, then hopefully somebody will remember to do this and get more traffic to their site.
