Your Blogging Schedule

When I blog, I don’t just fire up my laptop and start writing every day. Admittedly I do sometimes, but in the overall scheme of things I try to plan when and how often I blog. Generally I do aim for once a day, but to be honest I don’t always manage. The thing is, when I sit down to write I seem to always find a flow of words. This is not to brag at you, but to show you that the reason I manage to do this is because of two things.

  1. I write every day and have been doing this now for 6 months straight
  2. I also love what I’m doing and am very passionate about the subject of IM related issues.

You see, I didn’t just wake up one day and managed to blog and write like mad. It took me failure in a network marketing business and the realization that I’m not cut out for “pestering friends and family”. Yes, unfortunately that’s what they still teach you - to write that damn list. I’m really so over this and even though I know that network marketing is only successful by concentrating on the actual marketing part, it isn’t for me. Really I mean it. But I wouldn’t be right here, if it wasn’t for my very first business back in 2004.

I will therefore forever be grateful to that and what I learnt while pursuing MLM. It thought me a lot, amongst what not to like. I know now that this is what I love doing and therefore you need to understand that it will take some sort of failure for you too to find your passion. Unless of course you already have.

So to be a blogging addict like me, you will need to plan your schedule. Start with your experience, your passion and what you feel very strongly about. It will give you a rough sketch of what niche to choose and you can take it from there.

Build on this and write for 3 month solid at least 5 times per week. If you still feel strong about what you do then, you can be assured that you are on the right track - you know the one.
